Update on us

Hi guys!

Thank you all so much for the purrs, prayers & rosies you have sent.

Mom took little Calvin to the vet this morning & he listened to him & said he didn't think it was pneumonia. (Thank goodness!)

He said he was pretty rattly & he couldn't hear super good because Calvin was purring loudly. MOL

He gave him a shot like Oly had last week. Gentocin & B-12 then he switched him & the rest of us over to Bactrim.

He said the Clavamox is good but it generally does what it's going to the first week & if we are still sick then they need to change the antibiotic.

He thinks it's a really bad sinus infection and said that Calvin will have to fight it off & hopefully the meds will help him.

Now mom thinks the Bactrim will help but the only problem is that it makes ALL of us drool something fierce! I mean we are talking like Turner & Hooch type drool. (ick!)

But we only take it once a day so she's thinking we are just going to have to deal with 5 minutes of nasty drool.

We are not sure how Calvin will do with it though. Since he got the shot today he doesn't start on it til tomorrow. Mom is a bit worried that if he drools like we did then he will have an even harder time breathing. *sigh*

But that is the latest & hopefully we will have better news to report after a few days of new meds!

Thank you all again, it has meant a lot to us & mom! We'd be lost without you guys & gals!

And a special thank you kiss to the handsome Catloaf! He made me some meatball soup! Mom thinks I might be starting to feel better, but me & little Calvin are the worse. It had been Oly, but that shot really helped her. So now if we can get me & Calvin over the rough part mom thinks we will all be on the mend just fine.

Hopefully a week from now this will all be a memory!

Not again!

Well first of all I'm sure you've all met my bratty new brofur by now.

His name is Calvin and he was named after our wonderful friend Calvin.

The next thing going on is that my secretary is about to be fired! Do you know what she did?!

She let our Catster Plus expire! She swears she *forgot* it was due. So now we have to *wait* until next week sometime before she gets it back for us. *pout* We will be glad to see those ads gone again that's for sure!

Also please keep us in your purrs as most of us are sneezing & hacking. (Started before we brought the little orange brat home)

Mom is home & sad news about a friend.

Hi everyfur, mom is finally home & has been getting a ton of kissies from us all. She was so tired when she got in last night that she slept better than she has in ages!

Then cousin Tigress called her to tell her that our dear friend Calvin had made his journey to the Bridge. She was heartbroken over the news because we know how much he & his family fought that nasty cancer.

Calvin and his family were always one of the first to offer help when a fellow Catster needed it.

They made us beautiful angel pics & even made some for family furs that were not on Catster or Dogster.

We love Calvin & his family & our hearts & purrs & prayers are with them.
