Arrival Story: I fell in love with Felica's mom and when she had kittens, we adopted one.
Bio: Felica was raised on a farm with her adopted parents and various other felines. She wasn't there long, as we adopted her at 5 weeks. Her dad was called Crusher, and I guess he was THE terror of the area, killing a lot of other cats.... Felica is a sweet refined little lady, and has none of her dad's characteristics, unless her brothers decide to chase her!!! She has been a wonderful addition to our family.

Dear Diary,
Mom and dad have been trying their best to keep me with them but this week my lungs filled with fluid from the Sub-Q they were giving me every other day and I told mommy my time was near. She stopped the fluids and my breathing was much better. I needed the fluids for my kidneys, but that life saving fluid was filling my lungs. Mom asked me what to do, to give her a sign so I promptly jumped up on the table ( first time in my entire 19 yrs I did that) then jumped onto the island 4 feet away, and then the stove. This may have told someone else that I was saying 'Look, I can do this, I am fine', but mommy knew that I was only doing this to get at the sink where the water is. You see, for the past few months I have begged to get up on the counter, or the toilet, or the bathtub b/c I knew that is where water was. I do have water in bowls on the floor in every room of the house that mom cleans and adds fresh water every day, but that never satisfied me these past months. She knew if I was that desperate to jump that high and that far that I must be miserable, which I was. For those of you who don't have Persians, we don't tend to jump with our short legs.
So here I am, at the beautiful Rainbow Bridge. Bootzie was one of the 1st to welcome me. I am not thirsty anymore and I feel like a kitten again.
