Oh yea, I meant to add...

I did not know Science Diet was not good for her!! I only gave her Science Diet because that is what the vet said to give it to her years ago, it's all I have ever given her thinking it was one of the better compaired to Friskies.. I think we will try some of the Weruva I have read about here on Catster unless some knows something better.

I can give all the science diet we have left to the stray cats in the hood..

Hi Amy,

I take L-lysine too and I don't have any side effects from it. Mom and I also second what everyone has said about Science Diet. It's ok you didn't know, we learned by trial as well. Look for a good grain free food. We eat Evo and Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Formula. Changing food has done wonders for my and my siblings' health. Hope you are feeling better soon!
